5G will help us build safer autonomous vehicles
Some people are labelling 5G the air in which future autonomous vehicles will inhale. For fully autonomous vehicles to work in the upcoming future, vehicles need to be able to communicate with one another and its environments efficiently making split-second decisions. The zero latency and bandwidth of 5G will allow manufacturers to build safer autonomous driving systems for vehicles, linking transportation to other people, building, street lights, etc. 5G could also quicken the coming age of flying cars.
5G could transform healthcare for the better
Again the bandwidth and speed of 5G allows it to be used to make split-second and even life-saving choices based on data. Now, robotic surgeries are nothing novel in the world of healthcare, yet 5G could make them much more common. Moreover, some experts have argued that 5G will open the gates to better healthcare across the world for people.

Will 5G really transform the world?
The overall consensus at the moment is yes. Though, like with any new technology they are going to be some apprehensions and a long adoption time. We still might not see the full returns of a 5G network until 2025. 5G will help build an even more interconnected world and interconnected infrastructure.
